This week at Porritt House

Another busy week for us here at Porritt House, but there's always time for a bit of fun, especially when the weather improves.  Mandy has just returned from taking three clients to Penny Horse Farm Welfare Charity, just outside Blackpool, to visit the horses.

A couple of years back when Mandy went for the first time with Anne and Diana they signed up to the World Horse Society and they've been going ever since, as often as is possible.

Today it was the turn of one of our new residents Colin to join them on his first outing since moving in, due to the cold weather, along with Anne and Diana.

They all enjoyed the time out and finished off with Coffee and one of the Farms fantastic cakes at extremely good prices, served by the freindly and helpful staff, a big thank you once agin to them.

The horses were really pleased to see everyone visiting again, even posing nicely for a photo

Diana has a real freindship with one of the horses, I dont know what he said but it made her laugh

I think the horse was looking for a treat but Anne had run out, that explains the long face I suppose
